By downloading, accessing, or using Pattrn, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

pattrn is a self-improvement iOS application that provides tools for goal setting, habit tracking, and personalized insights powered by generative AI. The app is designed for personal use and is subject to these Terms.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

• Account Registration:

You must provide a valid username and email address during registration. Social sign-in options via Apple and Google are available.

• Security:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities under your account.

4. Use of the App

• Permitted Use:

You agree to use pattrn only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• Prohibited Use:

You shall not:

• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the app.

• Use the app for any fraudulent or malicious activities.

• Upload or transmit harmful content (e.g., viruses, malware).

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

• Purchases:

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms set forth by RevenueCat as well as these Terms.

• Payment:

Subscription charges are billed to your Apple ID account. Cancellations must be managed through your iTunes account settings.

6. Intellectual Property

• Ownership:

All content, features, and intellectual property within pattrn are owned by us or our licensors.

• License:

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use pattrn for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. User-Generated Content

• Ownership:

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload within the app.

• License to Use Content:

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, modify, reproduce, and display your content solely for providing and improving the app.

• Responsibility:

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any rights or applicable laws.

8. Disclaimers

• “As Is” Basis:

pattrn is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties.

• No Guarantee:

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app. The app’s content is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of pattrn.

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the app’s services over the preceding six (6) months.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted in the app and/or on our website. Continued use of pattrn constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access pattrn will cease immediately, and any user content may be deleted.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Brazil.
