Pattrn is a self-improvement iOS app that helps users set goals, build habits, and discover insights through generative AI. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with Apple’s guidelines and Brazilian law.

We collect and store data tied to your user account (via your signed-up email). This enables key features and ensures a personalized experience.

Why: Used for authentication, app features, account management, and communication.

What: General location (e.g., country/region).

Why: Supports authentication and personalization.


• Identifiers

What: User ID, device ID.

Why: Used to manage accounts, enable features, and collect analytics.


• Purchases

What: Subscription history and purchase events (managed by RevenueCat).

Why: Required to manage billing and Pro access.


• Usage Data

What: App interactions, feature usage, and session data.

Why: Helps us improve your experience and app performance. This data is tied to your account for personalized insights.

What: Crash reports and technical logs.

Why: Helps us monitor stability and fix bugs.


• AI Interaction Data

What: User prompts and inputs during AI features.

Why: Sent to OpenAI to generate responses. Data is tied to your user ID but not stored for training or in our servers.

4. Data Storage and Transmission



  • Linked to Your Account

    All key app data from version 1.60 on is now stored with your email as the unique identifier. Anonymous use is no longer supported except for previous versions of the app.

  • Device Storage

    Most user data is also stored locally on your device for quick access.

  • Third-Party Services

    Data sent to services like Firebase, RevenueCat, and OpenAI is securely transmitted and only shared as needed for core functionality.

  • Security Measures

    We implement encryption and access control to protect your data, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.





5. Device Permissions



  • Camera & Media Access

    Only accessed when you choose to upload or take photos.

  • Notifications

    Used to send reminders and goal updates. You can disable these in your device settings.





6. Third-Party Services



We work with the following services to power app features:


  • RevenueCat – Subscription management

  • Firebase – Analytics and crash reporting

  • Google Sign-In – Authentication

  • OpenAI – Generative AI features (no data is stored or used for model training)



All third parties are contractually required to follow data protection standards.




7. Data Sharing



We do not sell or rent your data. Data is only shared with trusted providers to operate the app. Your email or ID is not used for tracking across apps or services.
